You may apply to graduate via the online graduation application at selfservice.msjc.edu/css/Student/Graduation
The graduation application will remain open in Self-Service and the Hub through the end of the term. However, for guaranteed inclusion in the printed graduation program, you must apply by March 15.

The graduation application will remain open in Self-Service and the Hub through the end of the term. However, for guaranteed inclusion in the graduation program, you must apply by March 15.
Graduation application outcomes are sent to the address on file or to your student email. The My Progress page Program Notes show updated comments regarding your program evaluation, including the verification of completion and/or information about remaining required items. If you have not heard back, please contact Evaluations at ESgrading@msjc.edu.

MSJC is hosting the 2021 graduation ceremony honoring all 2021 graduates on May 27, 2021. Due to various COVID-19 orders (i.e. social distancing, school closure, mass gatherings, etc.), we plan to host a virtual graduation ceremony AND a drive-thru celebration. Participation in both is optional.
A virtual graduation ceremony is an online celebration of our graduates and includes messages from MSJC Superintendent/President, a graduating peer (student speaker), and a degree presentation. Faculty and staff will be in attendance virtually to celebrate with you and we encourage you to invite family and friends as well!

Our drive-thru celebration is an opportunity for graduates to be recognized for their hard work- while remaining safe and adhering to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Graduates will have the opportunity to bring family, wear your regalia, walk across the stage, have your name read, and a photo taken.
We are working on a video explaining what to expect at the drive-thru and plan to release the video in early May.
Participation in the virtual graduation ceremony and/or the drive-thru celebration is optional. We encourage you and your guests to join us as we want to celebrate your achievements!

No, all students must apply to graduate to receive their degree(s) and/or certificate(s) however only those wishing to participate in the drive-thru celebration need to RSVP.

Since we are hosting a virtual graduation, caps and gowns (also called regalia) are not required.
However, if you plan on participating in the drive-thru celebration, regalia is required (at minimum a cap & gown).

Starting April 12, 2021, the Eagle Shop Bookstore will begin selling Graduation regalia, In-store, and Online. The Eagle Shop is currently Open, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. If you can't make it to the store during regular business hours, don't worry about it, we got you covered. Please visit the Eagle Shop website

Your SGA did approve the purchase of 800 caps and gowns for the Class of 2021! Visit the SJC or MVC bookstore Monday-Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00pm from now until May 25 to pick up. Free caps & gowns are first come, first served and while supplies last.

Auditions to be the student speaker for the virtual graduation ceremony is scheduled for April (dates, times & Zoom link below). To audition, prepare a 5 minute or less speech speaking to this year's theme- “Today's resiliency is tomorrow's hope.”

Since we are hosting a virtual graduation, our capacity is unlimited. We encourage you to invite family and friends to our website to view your virtual ceremony by visiting msjc.edu/graduation/2021
Each graduate may have one vehicle with as many family/friends as seat belts. No RVs/Campers/Motorhomes, etc. will be allowed due to height restrictions. All vehicles must be under 9 feet in height.
We encourage graduates not to drive themselves, if possible, so that they may easily participate in the planned activities.

Although the deadline to have your photo included in the pre-recorded name calling videos, you may still submit a photo and statement for the website.
Diplomas will be mailed to graduates after July 15. Those who graduated in Summer or Fall should have already received their award. If you have questions regarding diplomas or certificates, contact Evaluations at ESgrading@msjc.edu
Graduates may purchase degree frames from our Eagle Shop Bookstore. Frames are available in our physical store now. Bookstore operating hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Degree frames are also available for purchase online. Please visit the Eagle Shop website
Graduates who RSVP and attend the drive-thru celebration will have an opportunity to have two professional photos taken by GradImages. One is a candid photograph as you cross the stage and the second is a posed portrait. You will receive a free passport-sized, full-color proof by email after graduation. There is no obligation to purchase.

Celebrate your accomplishments with a yard sign. Signs are available NOW for purchase at the Eagle Bookstore. Bookstore operating hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Online sales have ended.
