After 25 and a half years at MSJC, 18 as your superintendent/president, the time has finally come for me to depart and say farewell. It has been an amazing run at the helm of this great institution, watching this institution grow. I am immensely proud to have witnessed the impact of our collective work on the community broaden over the years, and most importantly, living the vision of transforming the lives of students for the better in record numbers each year.

The Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Child Development & Education Center (CDEC) celebrated the achievements of 24 graduates during a special ceremony held June 11 at the San Jacinto Campus, bringing the College's 2026 graduation season to a meaningful close.

Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) students Danela Young and Marisa Salazar have been selected to participate in the highly competitive Partners in Peace (PiP) program, a national initiative of the National Collegiate Honors Council in collaboration with the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, Norway.

Five graduates achieved the extraordinary distinction of earning one or more associate degrees from Mt. San Jacinto College before completing high school, demonstrating the transformative opportunities available through the Middle College partnership between MSJC and Beaumont Unified School District.

Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) proudly welcomed Aron Achiczy as the new Student Trustee serving on the Board of Trustees for the 2026-27 academic year. Aron was officially sworn in during the June 11, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting, where he took the oath and began his term representing the voices and interests of MSJC students.

The San Jacinto Middle College High School program celebrated another major milestone this graduation season as its second graduating class crossed the stage, marking significant growth for a partnership designed to accelerate student success and expand college access in the San Jacinto Valley.

For the fifth consecutive year, Mt. San Jacinto College students have been selected to participate in the highly competitive CIRM Bridges to Stem Cell Research Internship Program, coordinated through California State University San Marcos, which provides students with opportunities to conduct hands-on research at leading laboratories throughout San Diego.

Two Mt. San Jacinto College students have been recognized among California's top community college scholars after being selected to the 2026 Phi Theta Kappa All-California Academic Team, a prestigious statewide recognition honoring academic achievement, leadership, and community service.

On the evening of Thursday, May 28, Mt. San Jacinto College celebrated the achievements of 70 Adult Education students who successfully completed their General Educational Development (GED) requirements during the annual GED Graduation Ceremony.
