Mt. San Jacinto College Superintendent/President Dr. Tawny Dotson and MSJC Board of Trustees Area 2 Trustee Calvin Smith welcomed Riverside County Fifth District Supervisor Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez to the San Jacinto Campus on Monday for a tour highlighting MSJC's academic programs, student support services, and state-of-the-art learning spaces, as well as opportunities to strengthen partnerships between the college and Riverside County.

Mt. San Jacinto College employees came together for the 2026 All-College Convocation to celebrate a year of significant growth and student achievement while looking ahead to the priorities that will guide the College during the 2026-27 academic year.

On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Board of Trustees approved a $441,570,165 budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. MSJC's 2026-27 budget supports a growing institution through increased investment in employees, student services, and facilities while maintaining the District's required fiscal reserves and taking advantage of improved state funding for enrollment growth.

Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) has once again earned the confidence of Inland Empire residents, receiving top honors in three categories in The Press-Enterprise's 2026 Best of Inland Empire readers' poll.

For Mt. San Jacinto College students Seth Kearl and Noah Burley, curiosity about science led beyond the classroom this summer and into research laboratories at UC Riverside. The two Eagles were among just 12 students who participated in UCR's 2026 MacREU program, gaining hands-on experience in chemistry, antimatter research and university-level research while working alongside university researchers and exploring what their futures in STEM could look like.

The Mt. San Jacinto Community College District Board of Trustees has named longtime college leader Dr. Roger W. Schultz Superintendent/President Emeritus, recognizing his 25 years of service to MSJC and a legacy that will continue through more than $120,000 raised in his honor to support students and the College's future University Center.

As Mt. San Jacinto College Eagles returned to classrooms across the district this week, more than 400 student-athletes representing 13 sports landed at the San Jacinto Campus Theater today for the annual Athletics Welcome Forum.

Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) is expanding athletic opportunities for female student-athletes with the launch of its inaugural women's flag football program, set to begin competition in spring 2027. The College has also named Jonathan Norton as the program's first head coach.
